We are now happy to announce that we have added a Yamaha Vino 125cc scooter to our fleet for our 2009 season! 
Any time someone wants a recommendation on scooters, these are the ones I rave about.

The scooter's engine have a carburator that depends on air to run top notch.  Just like you may have problems
breathing up here at 7,522 to 12,090 feet above sea level, so do the scooters. 

The Metropolitan 49cc scooters which normally run at 40mph at lower altitudes, like in Kansas or Texas, go much
slower up here.  I've made adjustments to the carburators to help them run better, but it's not enough to get
these guys up Trail Ridge Road.

The Big Ruckus 250 and Vino 125 are powerful enough not to need jetting to keep up with local speed limits. Still,
they do run slower than they would at lower altitudes.

The Yamaha Vino is longer and taller than the Metropolitan. Perfect for the person who is over 5'11", or for those
who have a motorcycle license, but don't need the power or 2 person capacity of the Big Ruckus. 
(The Vino can carry 2 slender folk)
